If you live in New York state, vote for “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” or “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” for the 2009 Three Apples Book Award at your school or public library.  A listing of the 15 nominees is (here), and more details and rules are (here).  Voting ends April 20th.

He will be talking and answering questions, in his first appearance in New York City since “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw” was released, on ComicCon Kids Day on Sunday February 8th, 2009.  Details are (here).  Admission is free for kids 12 and under!

On election day, New York students voted for which kids’ books they thought should be in the White House Library, and the books were sent to their Congressperson to be delivered to the White House, as explained (here).
