Scholastic News has a description (here) of Jeff Kinney’s recent appearance at New York ComicCon to launch the latest “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” book.  It includes pictures and comments by Jeff Kinney about the huge crowd, his book series, and going to middle school.

He talks about being “discovered” at an earlier ComicCon.

He will be talking and answering questions, in his first appearance in New York City since “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw” was released, on ComicCon Kids Day on Sunday February 8th, 2009.  Details are (here).  Admission is free for kids 12 and under!
